Silversea launches new brochure

Ultra-luxury cruise line Silversea has launched its ‘Asia Pacific adventures’ brochure for 2013/14 aimed specifically at the Australian cruise market.
The line is to have both the 382-passenger Silver Shadow and Silver Whisper sister-ships sailing within the region next year on itineraries which include a 40-day ‘Shores of the Orient and Austrasia’ cruise and a 24-day ‘Old Asia and Myanmar Mystique’ voyage.
Silversea’s general manager & director sales & marketing Australasia Karen Christensen said: “The Asia-Pacific region always holds great appeal to our Australasian guests due to its accessibility, wealth of culture and exotic landscapes.” She added: “We have some fascinating itineraries on offer for 2013 and 2014, including two Grand Voyages – one featuring an extended three night stay in Myanmar – and dedicated culinary and wine cruises and other itineraries taking in must-see sights in China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and more.”
The programme also features a Vietnamese Culinary Arts Voyage with British Michelin star chef Jason Atherton who owns the Pollen Street Social in London as well as restaurants in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.Atherton will give lectures as well as lead a tour of local markets.
