Centara has opened another Bangkok hotel, located at the city’s main railway station, Hualumphong.
Today (15 July 2013), the hotelier will soft-launch the Centra Central Station Bangkok – its sixth property in Bangkok and its third midscale Centra-branded hotel in the city. As well as being located opposite Hualumphong Station, it is also close to the city’s Chinatown area.
“This is a location in Bangkok where culture, sights and fabulous food meet,” said Centara’s CEO, Thirayuth Chirathivat. “For visitors intent on exploring Chinatown, sightseeing in Bangkok, or travelling to Thailand’s resorts and provinces, we shall be offering great comfort in a tremendous location.”
The new-build hotel offers 150 modern rooms, plus a spa, fitness centre and five meeting rooms. In keeping with the property’s location, there is also a Chinese restaurant and an international outlet called the Station Café.
Centara now offers 58 hotels across Asia and the Indian Ocean, including 41 in Thailand.
