Luxury tour operator Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has released a new ‘Pole to Pole’ brochure which gives information regarding the company’s inaugural Arctic expeditions to go alongside its seasoned Antarctic voyages.
The company will charter Compagnie du Ponant’s Le Boreal “well short of capacity” – only selling outside balcony cabins. The ship will sail with 199 passengers rather than its usual 264.
Cruises include a 15-day Norway, Greenland and Iceland tour, with prices starting from US$11,995.
All A&K guides are experts in their relevant field, which includes ornithologists, marine biologists, naturalists and geologists.
The company also guarantees a guide to passenger ratio of 1:12.
The company is also running an early booking offer where guests can save up to GBP1,000 per person if booked before 30 September 2013. That means a 15-night cruise is priced from GBP7,795 per person based on two sharing on a full board basis including domestic charter flights and pre and post arrangements.
