Following the passing of California’s same sex laws, Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism has launched a website for travellers looking for gay-friendly options for their wedding or honeymoon.

The site WeddingsinPalmSprings.com has information on party planners, caterers, florists and even advice on getting a wedding licence. Essentially it will act as a resource for those planning their big day.

Palm Springs has the biggest collection of LGBT resorts in the entire US with almost 30 gay owned or operated resorts and guesthouses.

“Our new website is designed to help same-sex couples plan their perfect wedding in Palm Springs,” comments Mary Jo Ginther director of Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism. “Weddings in Palm Springs capture the essence and style of Hollywood regency, desert modernism, old world glamour and romantic Spanish hideaways – all complemented by sunny blue skies, a gorgeous mountain backdrop and our truly laid-back way of life.”
