RAK Airways connects Islamabad

RAK Airways officially inaugurated Islamabad route from Ras Al Khaimah, as reported in Saudi Gazette.
The first flight RT 567 took off at 2030 hours for Islamabad from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport on A320 aircraft. The city is the airline’s third entry point into Pakistan. Other cities connected include two-weekly flights to Lahore and Peshawar. In the first half of 2013, the airline increased its frequency to Lahore and Peshawar from two to three flights a week to meet passenger demand.
Bollywood is the new focus of Oman Air. The airline is keenly showcasing the destination tapping an international audience with the forthcoming movie – Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Again. The movie is filmed in and around the Omani capital of Muscat.
