Qantas Group executive brand, marketing and corporate affairs, Olivia Wirth, said: “The Middle East is a key international market for Qantas. Since launching services there in March this year, we have flown over half a million passengers between Australia and Dubai.”

The series will showcase Dubai’s diverse range of culinary offerings: from celebrity chef dining to local street food favourites; the tastes of the traditional souk markets to extraordinary gourmet experiences. As per statistics, the first half of 2013, more than 110,000 Australians visited Dubai.

Qantas is a major sponsor of MasterChef Australia. Travel to Dubai and Paris as part of World Food Week commencing this 11 August, was also supported by Emirates. Arabian Adventures and Atlantis The Palm also provided support for the production in Dubai.
