Chinese Visitor Summit gears up for launch

The Chinese Visitor Summit scheduled to be held from 2-3 September 2013 is gearing up for the launch. The event will witness participation from 75 of China’s travel buyers with annual budgets of over US$5m.

The Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri in Abu Dhabi is one of the host hotels for the Chinese Buyers Delegation and also hosting a special closing reception for Summit delegates. General Manager Arbind K Shrestha said: “China is one of our property’s chief markets and we are pleased that the Chinese Visitor Summit will offer us great opportunity to showcase our brand.”

Participants will attend the event not just from Abu Dhabi and Dubai but also Seychelles, Maldives, Mauritius and Cyprus among others. The event is designed to introduce top Chinese travel buyers to local travel providers, hoteliers, attractions and retailers.
