Seychelles to attend UNWTO General Assembly meeting

A Seychelles delegation recently left for the UNWTO General Assembly in Zimbabwe.
This General Assembly will witness elections for the new Executive Council of UNWTO. Seychelles, represented by Alain St Ange, the island’s Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, has been nominated as a candidate for a seat on the 2013 Executive Council.
The delegation attending the meet also include Sherin Naiken, CEO of the island’s Tourism Board; Anne Lafortune, the PS for Tourism; Elsia Grandcourt, former CEO of the Tourism Board; David Germain, Seychelles Tourism Board’s director for Africa and the Americas; and Jenifer Sinon, Seychelles Tourism Board’s director of administration and HR.
