Malaysian airline Malindo Air has announce its plans to expand further into Indonesia with routes to both Bali and Jakarta.
The Jakarta service will commence on 23 September and run daily from Kuala Lumpur while the Bali flights will also run daily but commence from 26 September.
“Malindo Air’s new Jakarta and Bali services further reinforce Kuala Lumpur’s position as an important Asian gateway,” said Chandran Rama Muthy, Malindo Air’s chief executive officer, explaining the plans to align Malindo’s growth strategy with that of Kuala Lumpur as an Asian hub.
“We expect good results from these new services as Jakarta and Bali are already well-known holiday destinations, and Malindo Air will be able to provide business and leisure travellers with convenient connectivity options,” he added.
In June we reported that Malindo Air had received its fourth B737.
