Qatar Airways boosts frequencies

Qatar Airways has announced frequency increases to destinations in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific in preparation for the winter season.
The routes with increased frequencies are Ankara in Turkey with four flights a week from 18 Sep; Belgrade in Serbia with four flights a week from 18 Sep; Bucharest in Romania with five flights a week from 17 Sep; Dubai has been increased to 91 flights a week from 1 Aug; Islamabad in Pakistan to seven flights a week from 27 Oct; Jakarta in Indonesia to 14 flights a week 1 Sep; Manama in Bahrain to 49 flights a week from beginning 15 Sep; Moscow in Russia to 12 flights a week from 3 Sep; Sofia in Bulgaria with five flights a week from 17 Sep and finally, Yangon in Myanmar with seven flights a week from 27 October.
The increases in frequency will provide business and leisure passengers more flexibility and choice. Qatar Airways chief executive officer Akbar Al Baker said that the increases will ensure that these popular routes grow from strength to strength.
“We will keep looking at opportunities to add capacity to our existing network and further strengthen our brand presence,” said Al Baker.
