The Malaysian tourist board is targetting Middle Eastern travellers, after research found they were the highest spending inbound region.
On average, tourists from the Middle East will stay for around 8.1 nights, however the potential growth is far beyond that; figures from the United Nations World Tourism Organisation have revealed that outbound tourism will go from 38 million in 2010 to 81 million by 2030.
The country has set itself targets of 332,000 Middle Eastern tourists in 2014, with 2013 clocking up 295,000.
