Alan Murray has been named director of inclusive tour programmes at Air Partner. Murray will be responsible for Air Partner’s UK and European inclusive tour department within its commercial jet division. Murray joins Air Partner from Voyages of Discovery where he was managing director and has also worked at Monarch Airlines, First Aviation, First Choice Airways and Unijet Group.
Clare Purvis has been named account manager south at Holiday Extras. Purvis joins the company from Norwegian Cruise Line where she was business development manager. She has also worked for Voyages of Discovery, Flight Centre and Hurtigruten.
David Shiels has been appointed general manager of Jurys Inn Edinburgh. Shiels was previously general manager at the Jurys Inn Southampton and has been working at the hotel group for five years.
Isabel Ferraz has been named as the new general manager of The Mercy Hotel, Lisbon. Ferraz joins the Portuguese hotel from Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) and has 24 years of experience in the hotel industry.
