All-inclusive cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises will roll out 500 free minutes of Wi-Fi as part of its upgrade as of Winter 2014, it has announced.
The line is to double its satellite bandwidth and expand signal range as part of a series of investments which will improve guests’ online experience, according to its president Kunal S. Kamlani.
When rolled out the company will introduce 500 free minutes for Concierge level guests and higher.
“It’s all included on Regent, from flights, ground transfers and unlimited shore excursions to gourmet cuisine, premium spirits and fine wines, and gratuities,” he said. “Coupled with our hallmark personalised service and spacious all-suite accommodations, we provide a luxury cruise experience like no other for those who want to explore the world without compromise.
“And we know staying in touch with family and friends is of paramount importance. Our fleet-wide Internet upgrade will ensure our guests have an exceptional experience whenever or wherever they connect on board.”
The upgrades will be completed by the end of the year and more details are available here.
