Ethiopian Airlines boosts aircraft capacity

Ethiopian Airlines will soon take delivery of the first of its four Boeing 777-300ERs on 7 November 2013. The B777-300ER showcases a seating capacity of 400 passengers.

Ethiopian B777-300 ER will operate in its dense routes such as Guangzhou, Washington DC, Dubai and Luanda. The aircraft is scheduled to serve the Addis Ababa – Luanda route three times a week, as of 10 November 2013, and three times a week on the Addis Ababa – Guangzhou route, as of 15 November 2013.

CEO Tewolde Gebremariam said: “The B777-300 ER with its long range capability and fuel efficiency, the aircraft will be instrumental in supporting our fast growth in our non-stop long haul routes in China and the Americas.”
