SpiceJet eyes flights to Dammam and Kuala Lumpur

The low-cost carrier is eyeing destinations like Dammam and Kuala Lumpur by March next year along with increasing frequencies on certain foreign routes. “We are going to start operations to Dammam (Saudi Arabia) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) within this financial year. We are currently working on the financial details and also trying to increase frequencies to certain existing destinations,” SpiceJet’s senior vice president for commercial, V Raja was quoted as saying in Economic Times.

With this planned expansion, SpiceJet would raise its foreign flights per day from 28 to 42 within this financial year. The airline recently added flights to Bangkok, launching two flights simultaneously from Bengaluru and Pune to Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
