Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (TDA) is aggressively promoting its tourism showcase the on-going World Travel Market (WTM). The Authority is accompanied with a delegation led by Ras Al Khaimah TDA’s director, Khalid Motik.

The team includes Hilton Worldwide, Banyan Tree Al Wadi and Banyan Tree Ras Al Khaimah Beach, Al Hamra Residence and Village, Bin Majid Group Hotels & Resorts, RAK Airways, Rixos Bab Al Bahr, and The Cove Rotana Resort.

Ras Al Khaimah is fast growing visitor numbers year on year and the UK is consistently in the emirate’s top ten source markets.  The Emirate’ luxury hotels and water sports continued to draw British travellers to the emirate, which experienced a 37% increase in visitors from the UK in August 2013 compared to 2012.

Khalid Motik, director of Ras Al Khaimah TDA said: “The tourism sector in Ras Al Khaimah has seen significant developments over the past twelve months.  We are showcasing what our emirate has to offer: from the UAE’s first Waldorf Astoria, to desert retreats, beach resorts, and an increasingly connected air network.”
