The Indian government has issued an order to introduce Collective Landing Permit for Group tourists.

According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, this facility for permit of group tourists will be available at airports and seaports. Airports included in this facility are New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Goa, while seaports of Marmagoa (Goa), Kochi, Calicut, Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Chennai and Kolkata will also offer this service.

The facility of Collective Landing Permits shall, however, not be available to the nationals of Afghanistan, China, Ethiopia, Iraq, Iran, Nigeria, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and foreign nationals of Pakistani origin.

Dr K Chiranjeevi, Minister of Tourism for India has welcomed the notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
