Best Western has become the first international hotel group to launch in Buriram, northeast Thailand.

The Best Western Royal Buriram Hotel is located in the centre of Buriram, 395km northeast of Bangkok, and features 79 rooms all with free Wi-Fi and 32-inch LCD TVs. Facilities include a restaurant and outdoor swimming pool.

“The opening of the Best Western Royal Buriram Hotel… means that for the very first time visitors to Buriram will be able to stay in a globally-recognised, internationally-branded hotel,” said Best Western’s director of operations for Asia, Philippe Anric.

“Best Western’s decision to move into Buriram reflects the incredible confidence we have in this city. We truly believe that Buriram, and northeast Thailand, lie at the centre of an exciting new era in Asian travel.”

Best Western Royal Buriram Hotel becomes the company’s 17th hotel in Thailand, and Buriram is its ninth destination in the country following Bangkok, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Khao Lak.
