Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) is keen to develop and showcase its cruise offerings. In this regad the company held a familiarization tour around Zayed Port. The tour was part of a wider programme to show senior cruise line executives on Abu Dhabi’s offering for visiting cruise passengers.

ADPC and Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) are joining forces to develop and promote Abu Dhabi as a cruise line destination in the Middle East. The familiarization tour was hosted by Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, acting CEO, ADPC who welcomed visitors to Zayed Port and showed them around the new visitor facilities.

“In the past six years the number of cruise liners calling at Zayed Port has more than doubled,” said Al Shamisi. “The city centre port is in an ideal location and we have a range of attractions on offer making Abu Dhabi a unique and very special destination and a real highlight of any Gulf cruise itinerary.”
