FTAs grow 2.4% in November 2013

The number of Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTA) in India grew 2.4% in November 2013 as compared to November 2012.

India received 7.18 lakh visitors last month as compared to 7.01 lakh during the same period last year.

Between January to November 2013, India received a total of 6.04 million visitors with 3.8% growth, as compared to FTAs of 5.82 million with a growth of 4.5% during January to November 2012 over the corresponding period of 2011.

India’s Foreign Exchange Earnings (FEEs) from tourism in Rupees terms in US$1,565 (INR9,723 crore) in November 2012.
