The properties will now be known as St James’ Court, A Taj Hotel and Taj 51 Buckingham Gate, Suite and Residences and will be promoted under the Taj portfolio.

Both of the luxury hotels have different offerings to guests such as in-room check-in; access to vintage and classic vehicles; the 24 Karat afternoon tea at the St James’ Court property.

The other includes services such as the Taj Royal Attache butler service; optional Jaguar transfers; the Jaguar Suite and Cinema Suite. This hotel will also have a new lobby, reception lounge, restaurant and private dining area this year.

“This important re-branding comes at an exciting time for the increasing strategic links between India and UK.  We are delighted to have the opportunity to restore these iconic hotels that have more than a century of heritage,” said Raymond Bickson, managing director and CEO of the Taj Group.

Its London hotels have been popular with Taj’s predominantly India clients due to its strong Indian clientele and partnership with manufacturing firm Tata Group.
