Travel 2 has introduced a series of initiatives to help travel agents confirm sales during the peak booking period.

The operator has introduced a new ‘Price Beat’ policy where it will beat quotes by other operators by GBP10 if found cheaper elsewhere. An ‘Advanced Booking’ policy has also been announced to guarantee more security and flexibility.

A new call routing process has been implemented for quicker turnaround times, with its call centre open on Sundays during the next two months.

Its ‘Every Day’s a Pay Day’ incentive is also still running, offering vouchers for bookings throughout January and February.

Bookings will also go towards a prize draw for agents to win mega-fam trip places to South Africa and Thailand this year.

“With the many incentives and programmes we’re rolling out in the next couple of months, we’re confident that agents will have all the tools they need to sell with the utmost confidence during turn of year and beyond,” said Gordon McCreadie, sales and marketing director at Travel 2.

The operator has also introduced new brochures in recent months including one for Indochina and another focused on Touring.

Its marketing team has expanded, with new sales executives dedicated to the Caribbean and Florida added in Glasgow.
