Marriott offers mobile job searches

Marriott International is now offering jobseekers the chance to search for hotel vacancies via their mobiles.
The US hotelier has rolled out mobile versions of its recruitment websites, which can be accessed via smartphones and tablets. The m.jobs.marriott.com or m.jobs.ritzcarlton.com sites allow users to both search and apply for jobs straight from their mobiles. The candidate’s information can be imported directly from their LinkedIn profile.
“We recognise that the job hunt is changing rapidly,” said David Rodriguez, Marriott’s chief human resources officer.
“Today, 70% of job seekers are using their mobile device to research their next career move. We believe that investing in new mobile technology is critical to attracting talent, especially millennials and those in emerging markets who depend on their mobile devices more than any other generation before them.”
The mobile site is currently available in six languages including English and Chinese, with additional languages expected to be added in March.
