Taxi booking app GetTaxi has launched new self-service taxi ordering tablets at the Business Travel Show.

The new kiosks have been designed for hotel lobbies, business centres and office receptions with a simple way to order taxis.

The customer only has to enter their phone number to order the taxi and will say how long it will take.

The kiosks have already been used in Google and Facebook’s offices and are available in cities including London, Israel and Moscow.

“Going forward our vision is to have GetTaxi Kiosk at key locations all around cities creating virtual taxi ranks, as a reliable, safe and fast alternative to the minicab service. We believe all Londoners should have easy access to iconic London taxi cabs, with no minimum fares, and the GetTaxi Kiosk, we believe we can achieve this,” said Shahar Waiser, founder and CEO of GetTaxi.
