China Southern to fly Dreamliner to Vancouver

China Southern Airlines will start flying its Boeing 787 Dreamliner to Vancouver this month.
Commencing on 19 February 2014, the airline will operate daily services direct from its home base at Guangzhou’s Baiyun International Airport to the Canadian city, using the brand new fuel-efficient aircraft.
China Southern became the first airline in China to operate the Dreamliner when its first aircraft arrived in June 2013. It now operates eight of the aircraft on domestic and international routes to destinations including London, Auckland, Beijing and Shanghai.
But the Vancouver launch will mark the first time China Southern has flown its Dreamliners to North America.
The B787-8 operating to Vancouver will offer 228 seats in a three-class configuration, with four seats in first class, 24 in business class and 200 in economy.
Japan Airlines recently became the first airline to fly the Dreamliner to Vancouver, when its new deployment commenced on 3 February 2014. This service will initially operate once a week, before rising to daily from March.
