CLIA UK & Ireland will add to its trade resources to help travel agents increase sales of cruises.
The association will unveil a revamped ‘Oceans of Opportunity’ course on 14 February with new content, games and quizzes and will also introduce two new river cruising courses covering European and worldwide cruising.
A guide to family cruising has also launched alongside access to more in-depth articles on trends and opportunities.
“We are committed to supporting our members with excellent training, on-line learning, relevant and up-to-date resources, and interactive and inspirational events. Together with introducing brand new modules, we have revitalised all other content to ensure our courses continue to reflect recent developments within our industry,” said CLIA UK & Ireland director Andy Harmer.
Nearly 5, 200 agents are active on CLIA’s learning platform, which is accredited by City & Guilds.
Its Selling Cruise conference will also return on 22-23 May in Southampton with a new ‘Experience’ trade fair; conference sessions; Sail Away Party and ship visits.
