The Langham Melbourne has unveiled six new grand balcony rooms, each of which offers a 19m² private balcony overlooking the city skyline.
Located on the 10th floor of the hotel, the balconies were retro-fitted to each room. Aside the private balconies, the new 32m² grand balcony rooms offer 42-inch LCD TVs, media hubs allowing laptops to be connected to TVs, and large marble bathrooms with separate bathtubs.
“There are very view five-star hotels in Melbourne with outdoor balconies. There are certainly none with our uninterrupted view of the city, so we investigated the possibility of building new balconies as an added feature for our guests to enjoy,” said the hotel’s managing director, Ben Sington.
“The new balconies have only been available for a short time, but already they’re in high demand, especially on weekends,” he added.
The launch of the grand balcony rooms follows the addition of the hotel’s seven terrace rooms in 2011.
