Unfortunately, the government regime does not allow free access to the Indian market,” Akbar Al Baker, Chief Executive of Qatar Airways was quoted by The National on the sidelines of launching its service to Sharjah.

Qatar Airways currently flies to 13 destinations in India; however the airline is keen to expand operations in the country.
