The airline has now received 23 of the 44 A320 aircraft ordered from Airbus in 2007, and once completed in 2016, the order will more than double the size of Air Arabia’s existing fleet.
Adel Ali, group chief executive officer, Air Arabia said: “The new delivery marks a significant step in development of our fleet expansion strategy. We look forward to receiving seven more aircraft this year.”
The latest A320 aircraft come equipped with Shraklets which significantly improve aerodynamics of the aircraft.
