China Eastern to fly to Toronto

China Eastern Airlines will launch a new scheduled service to Toronto this summer.
Commencing on 25 June 2014, the airline will operate three weekly flights to Canada’s biggest city direct from Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
Services will depart Pudong every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 1240, arriving at Toronto Pearson International Airport at 1425. The return service will leave Toronto at 1625, getting back to Shanghai at 1840. All services will be operated using an Airbus A340 aircraft.
Toronto will become China Eastern’s second destination in Canada, following Vancouver. Air Canada currently operates a daily flight between Shanghai and Toronto using a Boeing 777-200 aircraft.
