Thai AirAsia will now enable its customers to purchase tickets in 7-11.

The low-cost carrier has joined forces with Counter Service to allow flights to be booked and paid for at any 7-11 convenience store across Thailand. Bookings can be made from 24 hours prior to departure for all domestic and international routes, and Counter Service will also allow passengers to purchase checked-in baggage.

“Adding payment options via Counter Service… is in line with our goals of making travel easier and more convenient for all,” said Thai AirAsia’s CEO, Tassapon Bijleveld.

“AirAsia will provide continual promotions exclusive to Counter Service to expand its customer base and make it a viable booking channel alongside our website, mobile application and ticketing counters”, he added.

Customers using the new service will be issued with a receipt and e-ticket, as well as an SMS to confirm their booking.

The service will be available at 9,000 Counter Service desks nationwide, in 7-11 stores and other locations.
