Airport lounge provider No.1 Traveller has announced an opening at Edinburgh Airport.
The new airport will open this May as the company’s sixth site and its first in Scotland.
It will be the first lounge to include the company’s new Touchdown service offering quick access to desks, the internet, news, good and drink, with facilities including a fully-tended bar, a self-service Pantry Table, seasonal dishes and a concierge service.
No.1 Traveller will also offer its ‘Driveway to Runway’ service with chauffeur-driven transfers, airport parking, security fast-track and its VIP departure service.
“We’re excited that we’re not only launching our latest lounge and our complete ‘Driveway to Runway’ service at Edinburgh Airport, but also our new Touchdown concept – a convenient way for the time-pressed traveller to make the most of their airport experience. Edinburgh was the UK’s fastest growing airport last year and has just the right leisure and commuter markets for our range of premium pre-flight services,” said the company’s founder and CEO Phil Cameron.
