The bilateral cooperation agreement on air transport services was signed by Khaled Ghanem Al Ghaith, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs, and Isa Moussa Toure, Ambassador of Benin to the UAE.

The air service agreement allows full flexibility on passenger and cargo service routes, capacity, frequency, and types of designated air carriers by the two signatories.

The deal will promote the UAE’s economic status as a strategic destination and key regional and international trade hub, and attracting more foreign air carriers.

The agreement deepens diplomatic relations between these partners which signed an agreement on avoidance of double taxation, as well as protection and promotion of investments in 2013.
