Philippine Airlines (PAL) is planning to increase the number of flights it offers to Canada.
The Philippine government recently secured an additional seven weekly services to Canada, following bilateral negotiations. And PAL has confirmed that it will now file an application with the country’s Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) to secure the extra entitlements.
At present, PAL flies daily to Vancouver, with three of these weekly flights continuing on to Toronto. So if PAL’s application is successful it will be able to double its Canadian operations to 14 flights per week.
“With the successful conclusion of the government- to- government air talks, we look forward to flying twice daily to Canada and offering our passengers greater flexibility and choice,” said PAL’s president & chief operating officer, Ramon Ang.
PAL is the only Philippine carrier offering flights to Canada.
