Trafalgar, Contiki, Insight Vacations and Uniworld have announced they will resume operations to Egypt for the 2014/15 season.
Contiki will be the first to recommence holidays to the country in September 2014, followed by Trafalgar and Insight in January 2015 and Uniworld from September 2015, with the refurbished River Tosca.
Brett Tollman, CEO of the brands’ parent company The Travel Corporation said the decision had come from on-going talks and customer demand.
“We have been monitoring the destination closely and after extensive consultation with our teams on the ground, and in speaking with our travel partners in each market, we are pleased to confirm a return to Egypt later this year. With a legacy spanning more than three decades of bringing visitors to Egypt for some of The Travel Corporation’s brands, our long standing commitment to and support of Egypt has been significant,” Tollman explained. “We are seeing pent-up demand for the destination and are delighted to be able to elevate our support for this truly remarkable part of the world.”
