Hays Travel has become the latest firm to sign up to sell Travel Lottery tickets.
The company’s 44 retail branches will be offering the chance to buy tickets during the process, with Bath Travel’s 60 branches to also take part.
“I’m delighted to announce Hays Travel’s partnership with The Travel Foundation. We’re looking forward to giving our customers the chance to enter The Travel Lottery as well as contributing to the charitable projects the Travel Foundation supports in holiday destinations worldwide,” said Jane Schumm, Hays Travel’s retail and training director. “What’s more, we can use commission we earn from ticket sales to support our chosen local community charities, including ‘Oliver’s eyes’ and ‘CHUF’, and to help launch our community partnership to Bath Travel agents.”
There has been three winners so far through tickets sold through Holiday Extras and online.
Salli Felton, acting CEO of the Travel Foundation said: “It’s great to welcome Hays Travel as a partner. The Travel Lottery is quickly building momentum and we are grateful to the early-adopters who are turning the lottery’s potential into reality.”
