Brazil will showcase lesser-known parts of the country through a series of roadshow events in the UK this week.

Visit Brazil Travel Association (VBRATA); the Brazilian Tourist Board (EMBRATUR); Pernambuco State Tourist Board (EMPETUR), Visit Amazonas and TAP Portugal will visit agents in Brighton tonight to promote the country post-World Cup.

The team will host another event in Manchester tomorrow and a third in Glasgow on Thursday, with around 170 agents signed up to attend in total.

“2014 is a huge year for Brazil having just hosted the world’s most famous football tournament, the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. This fantastic sporting event showcased much of our beautiful country, including not only football, but our culture, gastronomy, people and landscapes. We are keen to build on this and help agents sell not just the obvious cities and regions, but the stunning, lesser known destinations as well,” said Chris Fuzinatto, chair of VBRATA Europe.
