Marriott International has opened its second Courtyard-branded property in Bali.

The new Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak is a 290-room hotel located in the Seminyak area of the island, close to the beach.

Described by Marriott as an “urban oasis”, the hotel offers a range of rooms with private balconies or terraces, plus restaurant and bar, a large lagoon-style pool, a kids’ club, 24-hour fitness centre, and conference and banqueting space for up to 350 people. Wi-Fi is free and the hotel also offers shuttle bus services to the beach and nearby entertainment areas.

Another innovation feature of the new property is an electronic board in the lobby, providing guests with information on hotel facilities, flight schedules, nearby attractions, a local map and general news.

“We are delighted to be opening our second Courtyard-branded property in Bali, in one of the most popular areas for business and leisure travellers – Seminyak,” said Robert Stark, Marriott’s vice president for Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore & Australia. “Our growth in Indonesia is of great importance to Marriott International, and we look forward to expanding the presence of the Courtyard brand.”

Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak becomes the brand’s second opening in Bali following the Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua, and the 31st Courtyard hotel in Asia.
