Hotheads Innovation has announced a series of new training programmes for the Thai travel industry.
The company, founded by former Travel Daily and PATA executive Stu Lloyd, has now confirmed three dates for its training workshops. The sessions will kick off in Pattaya on 3 October, before moving to Hua Hin on 7 October and Chiang Mai on 10 October.
“Once again, the industry finds itself having to adapt and react to more turbulence in the market,” said Lloyd. “Attendees will develop core creative competencies to understand the need to innovate, be flexible, anticipate and find the future with broader thinking.”
The sessions are intended to inspire creative thinking and innovation within the industry. They are targeted at travel executives, including general managers, HR, F&B, sales and marketing directors, and marcomms teams.
And Lloyd said the event format has been adjusted slightly to suit the new market conditions being experienced by Thai travel companies.
“For the first time, we are bringing a world-class industry-specific training programme to these regional centres where it’s desperately needed. And we’ve tweaked the format to suit hotels’ budgetary pressure because ironically this is when they need to learn opportunity creation skills the most but training budgets are often the first thing to be slashed,” he added.
Previous Hotheads events have been attended by teams from Centara, Movenpick, Banyan Tree, Regent, Khiri, Diethelm and Bangkok Airways.
