Tourism New Zealand is inviting Southeast Asia’s travel agents to compete for one of the 40 places on a trade fam trip to New Zealand in March 2015.
To be eligible for selection, agents from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia have to complete the ‘100% Pure New Zealand Specialist’ online training modules.
They will also have had to attend one of the trade training sessions being held in Jakarta, Surabaya and Bangkok this week, the ‘Kiwi Link Southeast Asia’ event in Singapore, or one of the other training events held in the region throughout the year.
Kiwi Link Southeast Asia 2014 was held in Singapore this week, allowing 38 Kiwi operators to connect with the region’s travel trade.
“Allowing agents to experience New Zealand first-hand and really developing them as specialists in the market is hugely motivating for them. We see much greater enthusiasm and confidence in the agents we take the time to get to know, and those we take to New Zealand with us,” said Nick Mudge, acting regional manager of South & Southeast Asia at Tourism New Zealand.
Selected agents will be able join one of four itineraries planned across New Zealand. Visit www.traveltrade.newzealand.com for more information.
