SantuarySanctuary Ananda in Myanmar by Santuary Retreats is gearing for its launch in November 2014. The new boutique river cruiser has been delivered ahead of schedule and is currently undergoing some final touches before its maiden journey.

This all-suite ship offers 21 rooms with the most exclusive of these is the Aloungpayah Owner’s Suite. The growing demand for these river cruises has resulted in the announcement of its 2016 programme earlier than scheduled. This will be available from 15 October 2014.

The cruises offered range from three, four to seven night stays on the Ayeyarwady River and include a choice of excursions and cultural experiences. The extended 10 – 11 night itineraries on the Chindwin River to Homalin, the Upper Ayeyarwaddy to Bhamo, and sailings between Yangon and Mandalay will commence in 2015.
