flydubai expands Europe access

In an effort to make Central and Eastern Europe more accessible, flydubai has announced three new routes.
The airline will commence flights to Bratislava in Slovakia, Prague in the Czech Republic and Sofia in Bulgaria come December 2014. These new flights follow the announcement of flights to Sarajevo and Zagreb earlier this year.
The new routes make flydubai the first UAE carrier to connect to Bratislava and Sofia.
“We are always looking for new opportunities to grow our network,” said Jeyhun Efendi, senior vice president commercial (UAE, EU, ME, CIS) for flydubai. “Central and Eastern Europe has always been an important market for us. In addition, business class will also be available on all three routes.”
flydubai will operate two flights a week between Dubai and Bratislava, starting 6 December 2014. The flights will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays. FZ785 will depart Dubai International Terminal 2 at 09:45hrs, arriving at MR Štefánik Airport at 12:55hrs local time. FZ786 will depart MR Štefánik Airport at 13:50hrs local time, landing in Dubai International Terminal 2 at 22:20hrs local time.
The Prague route will be operated with four flights a week starting 5 December 2014. The flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. FZ781 will depart Dubai International Terminal 2 at 08:40hrs, arriving at Václav Havel Airport at 12:20hrs local time. FZ782 will depart Václav Havel Airport at 13:05hrs local time, landing in Dubai International Terminal 2 at 22:00hrs local time.
Finally for Sofia, flydubai will operate two flights a week starting 14 December 2014 on Wednesdays and Sundays. FZ757 will depart Dubai International Terminal 2 at 10:55hrs, arriving at Sofia Airport at 14:40hrs local time. While FZ758 will depart Sofia Airport at 15:40hrs local time, landing in Dubai International Terminal 2 at 22:20hrs local time.
