Dubai Tourism will continue its push for family and affordable tourism moving forward into 2015.

Family products, new hotels and attractions will be promoted at WTM and into next year, as well as an events calendar covering various topics including gastronomy, music, sport, art and culture.

Next year there will also be an increase in accommodation outside of the five-star bracket to expand the emirate’s attraction for tourists.

Ian Scott, director UK & Ireland at Dubai Tourism told Travel Daily: “We will continue to work with our traditional, specialist and nice tour operator partners to run joint promotions and integrated campaigns that incorporate trade and consumer activity including advertising, agent events and agent fam trips.”

In August Dubai saw a 27% year-on-year increase in UK visitors, the highest month-on-month rise in the last three years.
From January to August UK numbers are up 8.5%, while room nights in the first six months of the year are their highest ever.
