Six Senses has unveiled a series of enhancements to its private island resort in the Maldives.

The luxury hotel group has completed a major upgrade of the Six Senses Laamu, including new villa designs, new private pools and a sixth dining venue.

Ten Laamu Water Villas, three Ocean Beach Villas and three Lagoon Beach Villas now feature their own 18m² private plunge pools, while the Laamu Water Villas also now have direct access to an outdoor shower area.

The resort’s four Family Beach Villas now feature private swimming pools and an extra bedroom specially designed for children. And a brand new 730m² Beach Villa has been created, featuring two bedrooms and a pool.

In terms of F&B, the ‘Sip Sip’ restaurant offers a sunken bar and poolside seating, and serves up a daily menu of pizzas, salads, burgers, pasta, desserts, and homemade ice cream.

Six Senses Laamu is the only resort in the Laamu Atoll, and the only Six Senses property in the Maldives.
