Norwegian Cruise Line unveils 2016/17 itineraries

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced its ship deployment for 2016 and into 2017.
Four ships will be based in Europe for summer 2016 including Norwegian Epic sailing mainly from Barcelona and Norwegian Star in the Baltic, Norwegian Fjords and North Cape.
Norwegian Jade will return to Venice for cruises in Greece and the Adriatic and Norwegian Spirit will embark on Mediterranean itineraries from Venice and Barcelona.
Its newest ship Norwegian Escape will sail seven-night Eastern Caribbean sailings from Miami year-round while Norwegian Getaway will sail from Miami to the Western Caribbean every Saturday from 24 April 2016 to 23 April 2017.
Norwegian Gem will homeport in San Juan, Puerto Rico for Southern Caribbean itineraries throughout winter 2016, with Spirit, Jade, Dawn and Star also operating Caribbean cruises in winter 2016.
Norwegian Breakaway will sail from New York to Bermuda between April and October 2016 while Dawn will sail to the pink sand beaches from Boston from June to September and then two weeks in October.
Three ships will visit Alaska in summer 2016: Norwegian Pearl and Jewel from Seattle and Sun from Vancouver and Seward.
Norwegian Sun will then reposition to South America for the 2016/17 winter period.
Also in the Americas region Norwegian Gem will sail Bahamas & Florida cruises from New York in 2016; Norwegian Sky shorter Bahamas journeys from Miami and Norwegian Getaway will sail a one-off two-night Bahamas itinerary.
Gem will return for Canada & New England cruises from New York, with Norwegian Dawn offering one-way seven-night cruises between Boston and Quebec City. Pride of America will continue its Hawaii sailings and Norwegian Pearl will return to the Panama Canal in autumn 2016.
