Thai AirAsia X has launched a new booking option that allows passengers to purchase flights over the counter at 7 Eleven stores.
Launched in partnership with Counter Service, the new ‘Book & Pay’ service will offer Thai AirAsia X passengers the chance to make flight reservations and book ancillary services at more than 9,900 outlets across Thailand, including 7 Elevens.
“The Book & Pay process for Thai AirAsia X flights to Japan and South Korea is simple. Start by informing the attendant you wish to book a flight, fill out the travel information, select a route and flight and upon payment receive a receipt that can be used as an e-ticket. To further provide confidence, an SMS is sent to re-confirm the booking. Up to four people can purchase tickets with a single booking code,” explained Weeradej Ackapopanich, assistant vice president of Counter Service.
The service is now available for Thai AirAsia X’s flights to Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul, and includes the option of buying flight tickets, extra baggage and in-flight meals.
This marks an extension of the service introduced for Thai AirAsia‘s domestic and short-haul international flights in early 2014.
