Preferred Hotel Group has introduced a new global collection of private residences.

Comprising villas, bungalows, condominiums and other units available at the group’s existing portfolio of properties, the Preferred Residences are marketed as offering “membership-free vacation experiences” that combine the privacy of a residence with the amenities and services of a hotel.

“Preferred Residences allows us to satisfy a growing demand from our guests who want access to the private residence experience but are also resistant to relinquishing the convenience of staying in a luxury hotel or having to subscribe to a membership-based service,” said Lindsey Ueberroth, president & CEO of Preferred Hotel Group.

“Whether catering to an executive who needs an impressive apartment for a business meeting or to a large family that wants more space to simply let loose, Preferred Residences is a premier resource that helps travellers book with confidence.”

Initially, Preferred has selected units in 18 properties to join the Residences collection, all of which are part of existing members of its Preferred Hotels & Resorts or Preferred Boutique brands.

All units feature large living spaces and kitchen facilities, and some offer outdoor areas and private pools.

The initial portfolio includes options in Switzerland, Dominican Republic, Italy, Tanzania, Spain, Ireland and the US states of Colorado, Hawaii, California, Wyoming, Utah and Arizona.
