Disney Cruise Line will bring characters from the Star Wars movies to sea next year, on eight special sailings.
The day-long ‘Star Wars Day at Sea’ activities will take place on the Disney Fantasy ship in the Caribbean, and will allow passengers to meet characters including Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Boba Fett and Stormtroopers.
Events will include deck parties, meet-and-greets, screenings of all six Star Wars films and a ‘Jedi Training Academy’ for younger guests. In the evening, the ship’s nightclubs will be transformed into the Mos Eisley cantina scene in the original Star Wars movie, ‘A New Hope’.
Star Wars Day at Sea will take place on the Disney Fantasy cruises departing Port Canaveral, Florida, on 9 & 23 January, 6 & 20 February, 5 & 19 March and 2 & 16 April 2016.
The seven-night cruises visit Mexico, the Cayman Islands and the Bahamas.
