Centara Hotels & Resorts has unveiled its third property in Vietnam.

The new Centara Beach Resort & Spa Phu Quoc is scheduled to launch in 2015, on the southern Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc.
The upscale resort will have 143 rooms, an all-day restaurant, swimming pool with pool bar, fitness centre, kids’ club and spa.

“The new resort is a highly desirable acquisition for us, as it has a different style and product focus than our other properties in the region, and so we can expand our appeal to a wider cross-section of the market,” said Chris Bailey, Centara’s vice president of sales & marketing.

The new resort adds to Centara’s two existing properties in Vietnam; the Sandy Beach Non Nuoc Resort Danang and Chen Sea Resort & Spa Phu Quoc.

The Bangkok-based hotel group now operates 77 hotels and resorts in Thailand, the Maldives, Mauritius, Vietnam, Bali, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Qatar, Laos, Oman, Turkey and China.
