Jet Airways has enhanced its links with Abu Dhabi, with the launch of three new routes to the UAE capital.
On 29 March 2015, the Indian carrier launched new services to Abu Dhabi from Ahmedabad, Pune and Mangalore, in partnership with Etihad Airways.
This marks the first time that Jet has offered international flights from Ahmedabad and Pune.
“It is a proud moment for Jet Airways to launch these new daily services from Ahmedabad, Pune and Mangalore to Abu Dhabi,” said Raj Sivakumar, Jet’s chief commercial officer.
“The new services will help ensure Jet Airways is the preferred carrier by air travellers in these cities given our unparalleled domestic network and an ever-expanding international footprint.”
Jet already has a strong presence in Abu Dhabi, offering daily flights to the city from Delhi, Kochi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Goa, and double daily services from Mumbai.
Passengers on all these routes, and the three new services, will be offered connecting services to multiple international destinations with Etihad.
Jet will deploy a 168-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the Ahmedabad, Mangalore and Pune routes.
